The Golf Courses of Mogador Golf Club
The Mogador Golf Club is a project that consists of two golf courses designed by Gary Player (Signature Courses), The North Course and The South Course:
- The North Course was opened to the public in 2009, with large fast greens, its large manicured fairways and its strategically placed bunkers by Gary Player it provides a great challenge to all golfers.
- The South Course, perfectly integrated into the surrounding countryside, offers more variation with tighter fairways and the approaches to the greens more technical.
Recognised for the quality of the maintenance the golf courses at Mogador Golf Club attract players from all corners of the earth. The technicality of the courses can be appreciated by players of all levels from beginners to professionals. Each hole has six tee positions which provides a golf course adapted for everyone no matter what their handicap.
The very mild climate together with the close proximity to the capitals of Europe make the Mogador Golf Club and ideal winter training ground which has already been adopted by a number of international teams and European Tour professionals.

Situated in a small village called Diabet, next to the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa, the Mogador Golf Club is just a few minutes from the town of Essaouira and its medina.
Essaouira is 170km from Marrakech and Agadir (2.5 hrs drive), and 400km from Casablanca
